Welcome to The Greyhound
Welcome to the Greyhound Inn and Restaurant, a traditional Grade II listed British Inn, situated in the heart of stunning rural Berkshire countryside, in the South of England.
It is one of the oldest buildings in Tidmarsh, a fine example of 12th century construction, which became a wayside public house in 1625, and was owned by the monks of Reading Abbey. After a devastating fire in February 2005, The Greyhound has been refurbished by the licensee, Paul Woodford, who has created a relaxing, cosy and contemporary ambience, appropriate to this beautiful thatched inn's charm, which is enhanced by open fires, and wooden beamed ceilings.
